The VCT EMEA 2025 season has reached its climactic finale after seven weeks of fierce VALORANT action, beginning with group play on March 26 and culminating in the Grand Final on May 4. Stage 1 and Playoffs Recap
The group stage set the table: Team Heretics (5–0) and Team Liquid (4–1) topped their respective groups, while Fnatic, NAVI, Vitality, FUT Esports, Gentle Mates, and BBL Esports secured the remaining playoff berths through clutch wins and tiebreakers.
When the playoffs kicked off on May 8, BBL Esports upset NAVI 2–0, and Fnatic swept FUT Esports by the same score to book Upper Bracket Semifinal berths. Team Heretics then dispatched BBL 2–0, while Fnatic edged Team Liquid 2–1 in a high-pressure affair, setting up an Upper Bracket Final showdown.
In the bracket’s closing acts, Fnatic shut out Team Heretics 2–0 to claim the Upper Final, forcing Heretics into the Lower Bracket Final—where they rebounded with a 3–0 win over Team Liquid to force a rematch in the Grand Final. However, the Grand Final also belonged to Fnatic with a commanding 3–0 sweep of Heretics (13–4 Split, 13–9 Icebox, 14–12 Fracture) clinched the EMEA crown and nine EMEA Points.
